A Dedicated Psychotherapy Program for University Professionals

Welcome. This page is for employees of our partner universities. My practice, William MD Youngblood MS LMFT, is committed to providing specialized, accessible mental health support to the faculty, staff, and leaders who form the backbone of California’s premier academic institutions.

My Commitment to the University Community

After more than a decade providing counseling and consultation within the University of California system and other leading academic institutions, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique professional and personal challenges inherent in this environment. I am intimately familiar with the significant stressors university employees navigate—from managing massive budget cuts and evolving federal policies to fostering collaboration within a wonderfully diverse and complex multicultural community.

This work requires a confidential space to process, strategize, and grow. Because I am not currently on university insurance panels, I created the University Employee Support Program to ensure that my specialized experience remains accessible to you. This program is my way of continuing to serve a community I know and respect.
